This role is based in Warsaw or Kraków, Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Code in C++ programming language.
- Understand guest (virtualized) and host (hypervisor) environments and develop secure solutions.
- Collaborate with peers to design and optimize software features on Google's hardware stack.
- Lead design and build processes for infrastructure to measure and detect performance regressions.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience with performance analysis and optimization.
- 2 years of experience with debugging and Linux.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Rust, C, C++, and Python.
- Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and synchronization.
