The G1 Gmscore module is the recommended integration method for second-party (OEMs) and third-party mobile applications to utilize Google One services. Our partners include Photos, Gmail, Drive, Editors, Gemini, NotebookLM, Messages, and Chrome, spanning across various product areas, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Moto, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience with iOS development.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with large-scale application design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 3 years of experience with software development in the Swift, Java, or Kotlin programming language.
- Experience in API design and development in a mobile environment (iOS or Android).
- Experience in iOS application or SDK development.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AI development tools and workflows to build a mobile subscription solution.
- Act as mobile infrastructure owner, providing technical guidance and architectural reviews to engineers across G1 pillars to accelerate new product features.
- Work with Product Management (PM), User Experience Research (UXR) and Google One (G1) commerce teams to design and implement core SDK capabilities including iOS cross-app billing, 1P SDK APIs, iOS app group caching, and run various UI experiments with buy flow UIs with server-driven native technologies (server-driven swiftUI).
- Work with Photos and other cross-product areas first-party (1P) partners such as Gemini, Gmail, Drive, Editors, NotebookLM, Google Home, Chrome, YouTube, Maps and etc. on mobile SDK integration and powering more in-app interventions within 1P apps via G1’s growth engine.
