This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA.
Compensation:
$262,000-$365,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for engineering organization, driving the roadmap for Spark and Lake House architectures.
- Architect global-scale Data Lake solutions integrating open-source standards.
- Foster a culture of technical innovation and excellence.
- Direct integration of AI and Machine Learning workloads into Dataproc offerings.
- Oversee talent development and resource allocation across teams.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of software development experience.
- 5 years in a technical leadership role.
- 5 years in people management or team leadership.
- Experience with Apache Spark and Data Analytics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
- 10 years of experience with executive managers.
- Experience with Google Cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of open-source data analytics technologies.
- Familiarity with Data Lakes and Lake houses.
