This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 260,000-267,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project goals and contribute to product strategy.
  • Guide engineers across multiple teams and locations.
  • Set team priorities and align with broader organizational goals.
  • Develop long-term technical outlook and roadmap.
  • Contribute production-quality code and drive system design.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 7 years of experience in leading technical project strategy and optimizing ML infrastructure.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.
  • 2 years of experience with GenAI techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
