Senior Staff Engineering Manager, Support Experiences, gUP Engineering

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA or Irvine, CA.

Compensation:

$248,000-$349,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing engineering organization.
• Set long-term technical goals and strategies for partner and operations solutions.
• Oversee the delivery of complex, scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with leaders in Product, UX, and Operations to define requirements and shape strategy.
• Advocate best practices in software development and system design.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of experience with full stack development (Java, Python, GO, C++, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• 5 years in a technical leadership role.
• 5 years in a people management role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
