Software Developer, Cloud Source

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 144,000-148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with full-stack and Kotlin.
• Experience building products leveraging AI technologies, particularly Large Language Model (LLMs).
• Experience with backend server API and infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable products for cloud customers.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
