This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Compensation:
CAD 150,000-154,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Develop new HTML, CSS, and JS features in Chromium's Blink open-source C++ codebase.
- Develop feature test suites using HTML, CSS, and JS.
- Work with web specification working groups and external browser vendors.
- Identify, investigate, and fix issues with existing Blink Rendering features.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with data structures and algorithms, C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working in large code bases.
