This role is based in Reston, VA.
Compensation:
$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Develop prototypes and build front ends and back ends for greenfield projects.
- Collaborate with GPS Sovereign Engineering and Google Distribute Cloud Engineering to survey existing pain points and propose solutions and improvements.
- Lead architecture and engineering designs with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in software development.
- 2 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- Experience with Kubernetes and languages such as Java, C++, Go, Python.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
- Experience with AI, deep learning, or natural language processing.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
