This role is based in Reston, VA.

Compensation:

$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop prototypes and build front ends and back ends for greenfield projects.
  • Collaborate with GPS Sovereign Engineering and Google Distribute Cloud Engineering to survey existing pain points and propose solutions and improvements.
  • Lead architecture and engineering designs with peers and stakeholders.
  • Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  • Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in software development.
  • 2 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and languages such as Java, C++, Go, Python.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
  • Experience with AI, deep learning, or natural language processing.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
