This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Drive model enhancements to GeminiApp users, with a constrained timeline.
  • Resolve technical challenges and deliver high-quality products, adhering to legal, privacy, latency, and TPU cost constraints.
  • Develop the new feature for GeminiApp by integrating its innovative AI capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience in native mobile development (Android or iOS), with experience in building and shipping user-facing applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience with user-facing product development, encompassing clients (Android/iOS) and backend services.
  • Excellent system design skills.
