Software Engineer, Google Cloud Storage

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to implement new features and performance improvements in Google Customer Solutions (GCS) clients.
• Contribute to the team's design process by writing clear and concise technical design documents for the features.
• Work on debugging and resolving customer-reported issues and internal bugs.
• Invest in building automated benchmarking for GCS client performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards for code quality.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development and developing large-scale infrastructure, storage or distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with storage technologies/systems and file systems.
• Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure software in a distributed environment.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.
