This role is based in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively cross-functionally to evolve Google identity and get it ready for the future.
  • Develop critical identity systems that power first-party products across Google at scale, keeping our infrastructure safe and reliable.
  • Support our first-party clients to help them build products on top of our infrastructure in a sustainable way.
  • Participate in team responsibilities including on-duty rotations, code reviews, design reviews, bug fixes, address feature requests, etc.
  • Contribute to documentation and improve testing and monitoring processes.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to work on independent as well as team projects.
