Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Core

This role is based in New York, NY.

Compensation:

$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Write product or system development code.
• Design, build, and operate end-to-end services that bridge user requests with Google's backend systems.
• Lead the design and execution of significant sub-projects.
• Leverage machine learning and automation to evolve the production stack.
• Improve the overall health of the Static Content Service.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
• 2 years of experience programming in C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in distributed computing or cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in C++ and performance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills.
