This role is based in San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA.
Compensation:
$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement high-performance XR navigation components using Swift/Objective-C.
- Integrate and optimize motion tracking and localization algorithms to enable spatially aware user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with UX and product management to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on features.
- Maintain high standards for performance, stability, and code maintainability across the full development lifecycle.
- Integrate Gemini Live to develop novel, real-time, AI-powered navigation experiences.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in Objective-C or Swift programming languages.
- 2 years of experience with iOS application development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- Experience with iOS app development, SwiftUI/UIKit, Google Maps.
- Experience with computer vision and Augmented Reality (AR).
- Expertise in performance profiling and optimization on mobile devices.
