This role is based in Mountain View, CA, with additional locations available including Cambridge, MA.
Compensation:
$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Snapseed Android as a leading image editing application.
- Act with autonomy similar to a startup founder, moving quickly with limited oversight.
- Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and adapt based on user feedback.
- Triage and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in Android application development.
- 2 years of experience in software development with one or more programming languages.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
- 3 years of experience with Java, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience testing and launching software products, and with software design and architecture.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
