This role is based in London, UK.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze key performance metrics such as scroll jank, power consumption, rendering framerate, memory usage, page load time, etc.
- Identify, design and implement optimizations in Chrome/WebView/V8/Android.
- Build tools and processes to scale performance optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with Android and Chrome teams on performance analysis and optimization.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- 2 years of experience with computer architecture, performance analysis, and performance modeling.
- Experience in C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Linux Kernel.
- Experience with compilers.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with CPU Scheduling.
