This role is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage an Engineering team within Geo, focusing on ensuring the best user experience.
- Set clear expectations and align team goals with broader organizational objectives.
- Develop technical goals and roadmaps, evolving them to meet future requirements.
- Design and vet system designs, writing code to solve complex problems.
- Review code from other engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of software development experience in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.
- 3 years in a technical leadership role with 2 years in people management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of front-end development and Android/iOS development.
