Software Engineering Manager, Google Chat

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.
• Manage project goals and contribute to product strategy.
• Oversee deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 4 years of experience with Java or Kotlin, and Javascript or Typescript.
• Experience in web front-end development and modern web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience in a people management role.
