Staff Software Engineer, Google Cloud Storage (Mandarin, English)

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of new features from concept to launch by writing code and authoring design documents.
• Lead the design of GCS client software, focusing on quality developer experience.
• Define strategy for benchmarking and performance optimization across GCS clients.
• Mentor other engineers in best practices for debugging and performance optimization.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with storage technologies and AI/ML workloads.
• Experience in distributed environments.
