Technical Program Manager, Data Center Construction and Design

This role is based in Reston, VA or Austin, TX, with remote options available.

Compensation:

$227,000-$320,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, construction, and capital project support for large-scale data center projects.
  • Develop and mentor teams of engineers and project managers.
  • Build trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders to resolve misalignment.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure construction outcomes align with organizational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in program management, specifically within mission-critical facilities.
  • 8 years of experience with construction lifecycle from programming through commissioning.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or PhD in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience with data center equipment and environments.
  • Understanding of the start-up and commissioning processes.
