Technical Program Manager, Edge Network Operations

This role is based in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive ambiguous, and technical programs within the Edge Network Operations (ENO) team, such as next-generation network automation, tooling development, major platform migrations, operational transformation initiatives.
  • Lead, scope, shape, and manage programs, co-developing program strategies, goals, priorities, and success metrics with the wider team and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, and build effective mechanisms to monitor and review program performance.
  • Perform technical due diligence to evaluate engineering scope, establish milestones, timeframe, and engineering resourcing needs.
  • Build effective cross-functional program teams by guiding alignment on goals and direction, ensuring efficient ways of working.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing technical projects in a changing industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a network operations or design, Network SRE, or environment and with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking products and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, optical networking, CDN).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
