This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve customer issues and ensure product readiness and availability.
- Develop an understanding of Google Cloud's technology by troubleshooting customer-reported issues.
- Act as a consultant for internal teams to improve product deployment.
- Provide 24-hour customer support, requiring flexibility in work hours.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in customer advocacy or software development.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with distributed systems and web technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in crisis response and public cloud services.
- Background in data analytics or big data applications.
- Familiarity with open source distributed storage utilities.
