This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer issues and ensure product readiness and availability.
  • Develop an understanding of Google Cloud's technology by troubleshooting customer-reported issues.
  • Act as a consultant for internal teams to improve product deployment.
  • Provide 24-hour customer support, requiring flexibility in work hours.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in customer advocacy or software development.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with distributed systems and web technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in crisis response and public cloud services.
  • Background in data analytics or big data applications.
  • Familiarity with open source distributed storage utilities.
