This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$129,000-$185,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Design products and features that convey complex insights to help Google make better decisions.
  • Partner closely with a tenured Staff UX Designer to contribute to the team's existing design framework.
  • Work iteratively with software engineers to expedite the development of features with high quality.
  • Engage directly with users to understand their problems and visualize complex data.
  • Collaborate with the product team to inform product design choices based on user needs.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Include a portfolio or relevant links to your work in your resume.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Experience in visual storytelling, data visualization, and establishing design systems.
  • Familiarity with GenAI design tools and rapid functional prototyping.
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams to translate data requirements into UI components.
