Compliance Assurance Program Manager

The global privacy regulatory landscape is not static, and the product and technical landscape at Meta changes multiple times daily to continue to meet and meet the needs of our more than 3.5 billion daily users on our platform. The Compliance Assurance Program Manager (CAPM) works at the center of privacy regulation, legal, business, product, and engineering to put our users’ privacy at the center of everything we do.

The Exams and Audit team is part of Meta’s Regulatory Compliance Program and establishes, diagnoses, improves, and manages privacy compliance for better user outcomes. The team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving our company-wide privacy processes to enhance the reliability and maturity of our privacy practices.

We are looking for an individual contributor who brings operational scale and privacy and/or compliance expertise to serve as a trusted advisor and develop and further mature the posture of an comprehensive privacy program. As well as an individual contributor who tackles privacy complexities head-on, to help design and build an comprehensive privacy compliance program, while keeping our users and their privacy at the forefront of everything that we do.

While this role is not technical, it requires a keen interest in and aptitude for understanding how our platform is constructed, and the ability to dive deep into a technical feature in order to educate the right parties. Similarly, the person in this role will also be intellectually curious and build familiarity and fluency with legal requirements in the areas of privacy, data protection, and security.
