Embedded Software Engineer, Connectivity/Wireless

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with additional locations available.

Compensation:

$184,000/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software components at all layers of the system.
• Develop drivers and services for efficient operation in constrained environments.
• Lead hardware bring up and optimization efforts.
• Debug complex system-level issues.
• Profile performance problems and drive optimizations.
• Integrate software components from multiple teams.
• Analyze and debug firmware for various devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on connectivity software stacks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience or PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience with large-scale C/C++ code bases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Java, Python, or Android.
• Experience in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular technologies.
• Experience in embedded software development for consumer electronic products.
