This role is based in Menlo Park, CA with responsibilities including leading environmental compliance programs for data centers from construction through operations.

Compensation:

$132,000/year to $188,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead environmental compliance program efforts, including air permitting, biological surveys, and stormwater management.
  • Communicate technical environmental requirements and coordinate initiatives with external and internal partners.
  • Assess compliance findings and provide direction on investigations and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit technical reviews of reports to government agencies.
  • Develop training tools to support teams in meeting regulatory obligations.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and communicate findings.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in environmental compliance.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in environmental science or related field.
  • Experience in construction environmental compliance.
  • Experience implementing compliance programs across multiple sites.
