This role is based in Menlo Park, CA.
Compensation:
$184,000/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual design and implementation reviews of products and services within the Meta ecosystem, including Instagram and WhatsApp.
- Provide guidance and education to developers to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Build automation and frameworks with software engineers to enhance security across products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in finding vulnerabilities in interpreted languages.
- Experience with exploiting common security vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of common exploit mitigations and secure coding practices.
- Coding and scripting experience in general-purpose languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in secure code development in C, C++.
- Contributions to the security community (public research, blogging, presentations).
- Experience creating software that enables security processes.
