Production Systems Engineer Intern

This internship is based in Menlo Park, CA and lasts for 12 to 16 weeks.

Compensation:

$6,813 to $10,200/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain existing tools and automation frameworks based on specifications.
  • Define, develop, implement, and maintain frameworks for various hardware products throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work with partner teams to utilize existing test frameworks and explore new use cases.
  • Interface with internal and external teams to build necessary ports to connect with other tools.
  • Analyze data from large scale fleet across different dimensions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with object-oriented design, programming, and analysis.
  • Software Development experience with Python, Rust, Go, C++, Java, and/or PHP.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
  • Software Development experience in a high-level language like Python, Rust, Go.
  • Experience in hacking and prototyping.
  • Familiarity with hardware design and NPI development lifecycle.
