Research Scientist Intern, AI & Compute Foundation - MTIA Software (PhD) | Stagiaire chercheur ou chercheuse scientifique, AI & Compute Foundation - MTIA Software (Ph. D)

This internship at Meta is based in Toronto, ON and lasts between twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks.

Compensation:

CA$6,240 to CA$10,334/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Develop software stack focusing on AI frameworks, compiler stack, and high-performance kernel development.
• Contribute to the development of PyTorch AI framework core compilers.
• Analyze deep learning networks and implement compiler optimization algorithms.
• Collaborate with AI research scientists on deep learning models.
• Performance tuning and optimizations of deep learning frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or related STEM field.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of computer architecture and distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI compiler optimizations and frameworks.
• Knowledge of GPU, CPU, or AI hardware architectures.
