Research Scientist Intern, AI Research - Perception (PhD)

This internship is based in Bellevue, WA and focuses on advancing artificial intelligence technologies.

Compensation:

$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Perform research that enables learning the semantics of data (images, video, 3D structures, text, audio).
  • Brainstorm with research mentors and review literature on real-world research problems.
  • Develop novel solutions, implement prototypes, and conduct experiments to test proposed solutions.
  • Contribute to ongoing research projects and impactful technology releases.
  • Draft and polish research publications.
  • Present research outcomes to internal and external audiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
  • Research experience in Computer Vision, including recognition, localization, segmentation, and tracking.
  • Experience in Python, C++, or related programming languages.
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of significant results in Computer Vision or AI research.
  • Experience contributing to open-source libraries and frameworks.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
