Research Scientist Intern, Code Generation (PhD) (Paris)

This role is based in Paris, France.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and corresponding systems, leveraging various deep learning techniques.
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of deployed algorithms.
  • Devise better data-driven models for information retrieval and multi-modal fusion.
  • Collaborate with researchers and communicate research plans and results.
  • Contribute to research applicable to Meta product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or has a Ph.D. in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Experience with Python, C++, C, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Research experience with algorithms for sequential decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
  • Proven track record of significant results in research.
  • Experience in ML/AI research related to information retrieval, generative approaches, or NLP.
