This internship involves advancing methods to quantify and model user fit of wearable devices, focusing on head and eye pose measurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a research plan from problem statement through data collection, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Develop and refine instrumentation techniques for capturing anthropometric data.
  • Build repeatable pipelines for sensor and data acquisition.
  • Quantify uncertainty and inform design decisions.
  • Communicate results to cross-functional partners through reports and visuals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Human Factors, Biomechanics, or related fields.
  • Research experience in designing experiments and analyzing results.
  • Hands-on experience with eye tracking systems or motion capture.
  • Programming skills in Python (and/or C++/MATLAB).

Compensation:

$7,313/month to $12,134/month + benefits
