Research Scientist Intern, Neural Rendering, Digital Avatars (PhD)

This internship is based in Zurich, Switzerland and lasts between 16 to 24 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel algorithms in controllable avatar generation and view-consistent neural rendering.
  • Collaborate with researchers across various disciplines.
  • Communicate research agenda, progress, and results.
  • Write up results for possible publication if successful.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Must obtain work authorization in Switzerland at the time of hire.
  • Understanding of computer vision/graphics, 3D geometry, neural rendering, and human modeling.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art human face and body representations.
  • Experience with fine-tuning generative models.
  • Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
  • Proven track record of significant results demonstrated by publications in leading conferences.
