This internship is designed for candidates pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or a related field.

Compensation:

$7,650/month to $12,134/month + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Answer important product and business questions using scientific methodologies.
  • Synthesize insights from academic literature to enhance Meta’s products.
  • Engage diverse audiences on technical topics through effective communication.
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product teams to create value for Meta’s community.
  • Identify new areas for scientific insights to drive product improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in a relevant technical field.
  • Expertise in empirical research and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or scikit-learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-group collaboration.
