Research Scientist Intern, Physics-based Simulation for Avatars and Robotics PhD

This internship is located in Zurich, Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, design and develop novel algorithms for body, cloth and hair modeling, simulation and animation.
- Prototyping, building and analysis of experimental systems.
- Design and execution of algorithms.
- Collaboration with and support of other researchers across various disciplines.
- Communication of research agenda, progress and results.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Vision, Graphics, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field.
- Must obtain work authorization in Switzerland at the time of hire.
- Experience with computer vision, 3D geometry, character animation, and/or linear algebra.
- 2+ years of experience with C, C++, and/or Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
- 2+ years of experience in physics-based simulation, 3D geometry reconstruction, robotics, or deep learning.
- Proven track record of achieving results in top journals and conferences.
