Security Engineer

This role is based in Bellevue, WA with additional locations available.

Compensation:

$271,000/year to $347,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-organizational technical teams to solve challenging cross-domain security problems.
• Bring together engineering teams to build shared context and tackle larger problems.
• Operate with ownership and accountability for security risks at Meta.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Bolster engineering excellence in all activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years of experience managing security risk in large organizations.
• Experience in driving large cross-company engineering and security initiatives.
• Knowledge of system design, threat modeling, and risk assessment.
• Experience with security principles such as least privilege and defense in depth.
