This role is based in Menlo Park, CA.

Compensation:

$241,484/year to $250,250/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, develop, build and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software.
  • Build new features and improve existing products.
  • Work on diverse problems and design core backend software components.
  • Handle data storage and synchronization for large server clusters.
  • Code primarily using C/C++, Java, PHP, and Hack.
  • Conduct design and code reviews.
  • Analyze and improve system efficiency and stability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience coding in C, C++, Java, or C#.
  • Building large-scale infrastructure applications.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS.
