This position is based in Menlo Park, CA.

Compensation:

$240,921 to $250,250/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, develop, build and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software.
  • Build new features and improve existing products.
  • Work on diverse problems and design core backend software components.
  • Handle large-scale data storage and provide a runtime environment for front-end code.
  • Code primarily using C/C++, Java, PHP, and Hack.
  • Conduct design and code reviews.
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Experience coding in C, C++, Java, Go, or C#.
  • Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications.
  • Conducting design and code reviews.
  • Object-oriented software development.
  • Experience with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS.
