Software Engineering Manager

Compensation:

$184,000/year to $257,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and feedback to engineers through regular one-on-one meetings.
  • Facilitate results-oriented execution by removing obstacles and managing day-to-day tasks.
  • Engage in active listening and encourage open dialogue across teams.
  • Set clear goals and provide direction to ensure team alignment with larger objectives.
  • Utilize technical skills to guide the team through challenges.
  • Support career development and performance discussions for team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with LLMs and AI-powered products.
  • 6+ years as an engineering manager with experience in game development.
  • Strong knowledge of software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Graphics or Server Engineers.
  • Familiarity with C++ in 3D Game Engines.
