Principal Design Manager

This role is based in Redmond, WA, with a requirement of 3 days in-office work.

Compensation:

USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year

Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate a vision for AI-native developer tools.
• Mentor and grow a team of designers.
• Prototype new workflows and test concepts.
• Simplify complex AI capabilities into user-friendly interactions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and research teams.
• Advocate for the needs of developers.
• Investigate emerging technologies to keep the team at the forefront.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with significant experience in product or service design.
• Experience in people management and familiarity with design tools like Figma and IDEs.
• Knowledge of web fundamentals and coding practices.
