This role is based in Mountain View, California, with a hybrid work model (3 days in-office).

Compensation:

USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop, grow and lead a team of engineers.
  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Dev Tooling and Engineering System.
  • Drive adoption of common dev tooling and practices.
  • Partner with various engineering teams to drive strategic decisions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.
  • Build automated measurements to gain insights into productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • 4+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience in planning and delivering large projects focused on engineering productivity.

Tech stack:

Linux on Azure, Java, Ruby on Rails, Docker, Mesos, Kubernetes, Grafana, Azure Data Explorer.
