This position is based in Redmond, Washington.
Compensation:
USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user and system requirements.
- Design, implement, debug, and optimize backend services and APIs.
- Develop high-quality, extensible code for large-scale microservices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to monitor services and respond to incidents.
- Shape software architecture with informed tradeoffs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience in coding.
- Experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
- Solid backend engineering experience, including API design.
