This position is based in Redmond, Washington.

Compensation:

USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user and system requirements.
  • Design, implement, debug, and optimize backend services and APIs.
  • Develop high-quality, extensible code for large-scale microservices.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to monitor services and respond to incidents.
  • Shape software architecture with informed tradeoffs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience in coding.
  • Experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experience building large-scale distributed systems in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
  • Solid backend engineering experience, including API design.
