About The Role

Netflix is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our UCAN Series Marketing team. The role will be responsible for handling a heavy volume of administrative tasks: organizing meetings, calendars, and travel. This position is based in the Los Angeles, California office.

This role supports multiple senior executives in UCAN Series Marketing and their teams, a function dedicated to driving culture and igniting conversation, by creating the most talked about and impactful brand partnerships in entertainment. In addition to being interested and passionate about the Entertainment Industry and the Marketing function, a successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, and flexible. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization, communication and unwavering attention to detail. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is able to exercise good judgment, candor and initiative. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Proactive management of complex calendars for multiple marketing leaders,  including scheduling internal and external meetings, coordinating with admins of executive and C-Suite professionals from other companies, and working across multiple time zones in a variety of regions globally

  • Communicate with key partners, both internally and externally

  • Book, manage, and coordinate logistics for leadership meetings and offsites, team events, and industry events

  • Build a deep understanding of the team’s structure, the creative workflow and how those pieces fit together 

  • Coordinate with facilities for team/cubicle moves and new hire setup

  • Manage membership for team email groups

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for multiple executives simultaneously, both domestically and internationally

  • Processing expense reports in a timely manner

  • Assisting with team projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative assistant roles supporting multiple leaders simultaneously, a focus on entertainment, marketing or advertising agencies a plus

  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced team-oriented setting

  • Knowledge supporting global leadership and/or team, optimizing across time zones, regional and cultural nuances, to set up engagements for success

  • Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask

  • Strong attention to detail at all times

  • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information

  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Google Slides)

  • Ability to occasionally respond after hours for executive or partner requests or other urgent matters.

  • Passion for scripted series entertainment

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of hourly pay; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in hourly pay versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The hourly range for this role is $38.46 - $71.39.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
