Distributed Systems Engineer (L5) - Compute Control Plane

This role is remote in the USA.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $720,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Netflix’s Compute Control Plane, ensuring capacity for cloud and on-premises resources.
• Architect solutions to run workloads efficiently across various platforms.
• Drive engineering excellence and operational rigor within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with their needs.

Requirements:

• Experience with containerized platforms and cloud architectures.
• Strong background in distributed systems and operating critical services at scale.
• Ability to communicate effectively and break down complex problems.

Tech stack:

Kubernetes, cloud-based and on-premises compute resources.
