This internship is based in Los Gatos, California, and is part of the Video Algorithm team.

Compensation:

$40/hour - $110/hour

The Role:

Develop machine-learning-based models for improving the quality of encoded video formats such as AV1, HEVC, or H.264.

Who Are You?

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Statistics).
  • Strong software development skills, comfortable with Python and C/C++.
  • Experience in Machine Learning, Video Algorithms, or related fields.

Bonus Points:

  • Understanding of video compression standards (HEVC, AV1).
  • Experience with software performance optimization.
  • Involvement in open-source multimedia projects.
