Compensation:
$224,000 - $356,500/year
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to design and build core services for the observability platform.
- Define architecture for distributed ingestion services and time-series storage.
- Partner with teams to define data models and integration standards.
- Strengthen engineering practices through tooling and documentation.
- Help engineers solve distributed-systems challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years in building distributed systems, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience with observability stacks like Prometheus, Loki, or OpenTelemetry.
- Strong foundations in distributed systems concepts.
- Ability to read and review Go or Python code.
