Engineering Manager, Identity Infrastructure

This role is based in San Francisco, CA with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.

Compensation:

$405K – $490K/year + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Define and own the technical strategy for OpenAI’s core identity systems.
• Guide the architecture of distributed systems with high reliability and performance.
• Partner with Product and Infrastructure teams to support new product needs.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• 10+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems.
• Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
