This role is based in multiple locations including San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Washington, DC, and offers remote work options.

Compensation:

$277.6K – $490K/year + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep penetration tests of OpenAI’s agent-powered products, including web applications, APIs, and cloud services.
  • Continuously hunt for exploitable vulnerabilities in complex systems.
  • Produce clear, actionable findings with practical remediation guidance.
  • Partner with engineering teams to drive fixes and improve secure design patterns.
  • Build tools and automation to scale penetration testing.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands-on penetration testing and product security assessment experience.
  • Deep expertise in finding and remediating vulnerabilities in complex systems.
  • Experience with modern technology products, including web applications and cloud infrastructure.
  • Exceptional coding skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
