Security Engineer, Application Security

This role is preferred to be based in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City, with remote work options available.

Compensation:

$234.4K – $385K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing.
• Design and implement security tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Manage vulnerabilities and assist in incident response.
• Stay updated on security trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in information security or cybersecurity.
• Deep understanding of security technologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
• Strong communication skills to explain security issues.
