This role is based in San Francisco or can be remote.

Compensation:

$114,297—$235,319 USD

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with engineering teams to define, measure, and improve the health, quality, and efficiency of Pinterest’s infrastructure systems.
  • Build and refine metrics, dashboards, and analytical frameworks.
  • Design and analyze experiments to quantify the impact of infrastructure changes.
  • Support investigations related to infrastructure performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Statistics, Applied Math, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong SQL and analytical programming skills.
  • Experience with production-ready data pipelines and measurement systems.
  • Solid foundation in experimentation and measurement.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills.
