Security Software Engineer II, Detection and Response

Compensation:

$123,696—$254,667/year

Responsibilities:

• Build alerts and automation workflows to detect and respond to security threats.
• Manage logging pipelines and onboard new logging sources.
• Develop internal tooling to automate detection and response capabilities.
• Respond to alerts and run incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with cross-team partners and hunt for undetected threats.
• Leverage AI to enhance security engineering efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of intrusion detection and incident response.
• Experience with SIEM queries and threat intel.
• Familiarity with multiple telemetry sources for threat investigations.
• Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Go).
• High integrity and ownership in protecting sensitive data.
